HyChem receives the COTEC Innovator Status 2026

HyChem has been distinguished, for the second consecutive year, with the COTEC Innovator Status, awarded by COTEC Portugal in the 6th edition of this initiative recognising companies with a benchmark performance in innovation, financial strength and value creation.

From 1,561 applications, 1,173 companies obtained the status in this edition, evaluated on the basis of a rating model that considers innovation metrics, financial robustness and economic productivity. Together, the distinguished companies account for 25% of business expenditure on R&D in Portugal.

For HyChem, this recognition reflects a strategy built on continuous innovation, from green hydrogen production to industrial decarbonisation, and strengthens its position with financial partners, clients and investors.
